It's always good to reminisce and on that note I'll list a few of mine:

-Driving with Mitch and having him point out a red blinking light....which led to Carl pointing out how color blind Mitch is.
-Mitch getting obscenely drunk and eating ice cream off the floor.

-Joel getting scolded by Mike Hanley for how negligent Mike Hanley is.
-Not getting picked for 35
-John completely annihilating me in one of the early ultimate frisbee games.
-Upon first meeting kyle, realizing we both live in the same apartment complex...next door to one another
-Working on The Cost
-Watching dailies together for The Cost
-The whole Peach-O's experience even though it led to Kyle putting Peach-O's on my car where they preceded to melt and required tons of scraping.
-St. Augustine trip to take pictures in Photography
-Jeremy
-Every movie we've watched as a group
-Leprechaun during set construction on Vlad
-Being so confused with Seth throughout all our post classes
-Dan giving Erik a bunch of art supplies (it was like Christmas and I stole most of it from Erik)
-This one's a future memory that I know will be amazing: Chad's wedding!
-This is more of a reminder for a good laugh: Cake, Sundog, Chris Oporta, Ben Truong and Hurt.

It's completely surreal how everyone came together like we did. We are so very fortunate to have each other and I'm excited to see where everyone goes from here. I wish you all the best with the paths you choose and I hope we all make an effort to keep in touch. This has been such an amazing experience and I couldn't be more grateful to have such amazing people to share it with. I thank each of you for every moment we've shared and best of luck with each and every future endeavor.
P.S. we'll need a family reunion for our group in a few years, its mandatory that you make yourself available.

-going to have pizza with steven tyler.(first time i hung out with someone outside of school)
-bringing tina to our new home in sunny orlando fl.
-watching chad's video in behavioral science and thinking that this kid has talent.
-do that silly project in that class and meeting john and mike for the first time.
-tina getting a job at the school i was attending(we where able to see each other so much because of that, very grateful)

-the crazy fucked up dude that crashed out shoot for dc(one of the funniest things that happened at full sail)

- seeing the pens lose the cup but gaining a great friend instead(that's you chad)
-hang out with kyle every day after class for two months
-light the night(working with my friends found out that not only are they cool as shit but all very talented too)

-Laura Rush asking how we know how far away the sun is.

-Going to Washington D.C. with Kyle and Seth and making it back alive.
-Rick Ramseys nipples.
-Kayla Harnish divulging her first sexual experience with 100 strangers.
-Camping in St. Petersburg, and finding a dead body, or at least what smelled like a dead body.
-Hating that my last name was Taylor cuz my lab group always sucked hard (except for lighting with Shanna and Joel).
-Deciding to watch Hercules the animated movie one night at Joels. I will never understand that decision.
-Being happy that I lived at Azure because I had a sense of privacy.
-Realizing how much fun I had been missing out on once I moved into Berkshire.
-Saying goodbye to Jeremiah (that sucked).

-Going to Friendly's after lighting class.
-Learning new was to curse from Jeremey.
-Borrowing Kyle's projector.
-Watching Chad's face as Kyle's projector broke.
-The swapping of the projector.
-Doing dishes.
-Trying to spell Shanna's name.
-Shanna's baked goods.
-Punting Peanut.
-Getting a cat.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about this for a couple days because all of you have brought up such great memories. I think a few of my favorite memories are as follows:
ReplyDeleteSitting in Eddie Tapia's class and seeing Seth for the first time in the Don Quixote outfit and being so amused by the ingenuity of it.
Seeing Chad's (Inspiration?) video for behavioral science and being so blown away by the realness of it and being continually inspired by having someone around to learn from that was great at editing and completely passionate about it.
Playing poker at Jeremy's apt and realizing that carl is dominates at Movie Scene It and which is why we've never have played it again
Going to Mitch's House for both summer vacations and drinking with his family
Having Mitch's mother get pissed at Mitch when we were out boating for and i quote "double fisting beers". She said that we are reasonable parents but really Mitch two beers? when one of them was for carl.
Smoking Cigars with Mitch's Dad and Kyle
Getting trashed on the last day of 16mm at Dans house and then going and partying in a Persian mansion with Shanna in Cape Coral
Knowing that everything was right with the world when Shanna's name got mispronounced or misspelled constantly in class
As a corollary to that one, eagerly looking forward to the first day of a new month of classes so that we could find out just how her name was going to be mispronounced this time.
Getting really fed up with this school but having you guys inspire me with our work that we could still get something great out of it

Carl getting completely plastered one night when he was slurring way more then usual and losing his car and keys which he threw into some bushes.
Carl Calling us when we were watching No Country for old men at jeremy's house and saying he was lost and then hung up, which he then fell into a swamp as he walked back from Laura's Paddy's Day Party to Kyle&Hunter's old apt.
Seeing Mitch and Kyle play GTA and jumping a bike off the sky scraper building and landing completely ok.

Shanna finally drinking mango margaritas with us.
Getting the opportunity to work for a professional music video director
Going to up to lake mary to listen to john play music at Applebees and route 46 I'm going to miss this a lot.
for the first time being really really excited to see one of our finished products (The Cost) and being happy to show people it.
That's all i can think of for now but I'm going to miss you all, and agree with Shanna that we need to have reunions.
