First of all, I love all of you. My friendship with each of you has helped shape who I am today, and I am forever grateful for the time we were able to spend together. Its hard to quantify the last two years, so much has happened, and it has gone by so fast. I see great meaning and purpose behind our time here, and the effect it will have upon our lives as we move forward. As I write this we have 8 days remaining in our tenure at Full Sail. If you thought the last 2 years went by fast, the next 8 days will be gone like a vapor. I encourage you to take time this last week and bless each other with words of love and encouragement, reveling in the times we've spent together. (Sorry if thats a little over the top, I'm listening to Explosions in the Sky so all my thoughts are somewhat dramatic).
The sole purpose of this blog is to help us all stay connected. There are no expectations placed on anyone as it relates to this blog. Post as often or as rarely as you want. Post whatever you want. Thoughts, books, pictures, music, news. Anything. Nothing is to small, and nothing is too big. I would encourage you to post something however, otherwise what's the point?
So here we go. We are on the edge of transition. These points in life can be hard, because the unknown can be quite intimidating, but hopefully we can help each other make it through.
P.S. Can we be a generation that changes things? Lets never for settle for status quo. If our lives have purpose, if our lives have meaning, then we can't settle for ordinary, we can't settle for mediocre, and we can't let each other settle for those things.
Double P.S. I don't know what the title of our blog means. I made it up, it came from the clouds I think.
so sweet chad. awesome idea i'll be looking at this blog no doubt.

ReplyDeleteMany of us would probably all agree, Full Sail has been quite the experience, both good and bad. Yet, I would do it over again in a heart beat for the people I have met, and further more the people who have become life long friends. Its rare to come across a group of people like us, and I have always felt myself lucky to have met every one of you. We all are strong individuals, with goals and dreams in our sights. We all strive for something greater...something with more meaning to who we are. Keep that in your hearts and minds as we set out into this new world. Be optimistic that even though we are spreading out across this industry, our friendships are only beginning. Like you said Chad, there is a deeper meaning to all of us being here at this time, and meeting one another.
ReplyDeleteBe well, be safe, and most of all be happy.

Stop trying to make us cry Chad, that isn't fair. We're all going to know each other forever and hang out all the time, and that's the end of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see where everyone goes in life. This is a great idea Chad. I hope everyone takes time out of our soon to be busy lives to post something every once in awhile. I do hope that we all get to see each other from time to time. It has been a great time getting to all of you. Now get out there and do big things.
ReplyDeleteand by getting to all of you, i mean getting to know all of you.....
