Casting Advice

Hey so I need some help and insight. I'm running a casting session next week for a commercial I am shooting later this month. Its for a non-speaking role, that contains fairly strong physical comedy. I wrote up a some liners for the person to read just to see if they have any acting skill, and to see if they can take direction. But I'm not sure what to do about the physical comedy thing. The physical comedy IS the commercial, so I need to know if this person can really do it. Does it seem weird to ask them to demonstrate some level of physical comedy? Do i give them a hammer and say swing away? not sure what to do here.
What are your thoughts?

A Small Project

Tina and I created this video for a friend of ours. Tina did all the illustrations and i did the animation. Nothing to amazing but we had fun working on it together.

Also some of my photography is featured on China Shop web magazine.
This is the project I went to LA for. It was not what I expected but I gained perspective and experience. So it was worth it. Sometimes all you can do is try!
